GAYLORD, MICHIGAN – The Most Reverend Jeffrey J. Walsh, bishop of the Diocese of Gaylord, has announced the following appointments, effective September 1, 2023:
Reverend Rolando Silva – from Pastor, St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish, Rogers City to continued leave of absence. Future assignment to be determined at a later date.
Reverend Charles G. Donajkowski – to Sacramental Minister, St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish, Rogers City. Father Donajkowski will continue as Pastor of St. Casimir Parish, Posen and St. Dominic Parish, Metz. Father Donajkowski will also be assisted by other priests to cover sacramental ministry at St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish.
Deacon Scott J. Landane– to Director of Parish Life, St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish, Rogers City.
Theresa M. Zbytowski – from Director of Parish Life, St. Rose of Lima Parish, Herron. A canonical process will begin September 5, 2023 to determine the future status of the parish.
Reverend James H. Siler – to Administrator, St. Rose of Lima Parish, Herron. Father Siler will continue as Administrator of St. Augustine Parish, Hillman and Jesus the Good Shepherd Parish, Atlanta.
