Modifications to COVID-19 Protocols for Liturgical Celebrations

Today, Bishop Hurley shared a memorandum with parishes outlining modifications to COVID-19 protocols for liturgical celebrations. These modifications affect seating capacity, music within the Mass, Communion distribution, the presentation of the gifts, Mass servers, and protocols for exiting the church after Mass. Bishop Hurley stated: "It is our hope that these modifications will help to bolster people’s hope and feelings of joy as a worshipping community, and at the same time keep safe. Let us pray for each other and those whose lives have been lost or affected by this virus as we journey though this time of uncertainty."
