Official Diocesan Appointments
The Most Reverend Bernard A. Hebda, Bishop of the Diocese of Gaylord announces the following appointments:
Effective August 4, 2010
Rev. Artur Duchnowicz was reassigned as Pastor of St. Ignatius in Rogers City, St. Casimir in Posen and St. Dominic in Metz. (Sr. Rita Epple continues as Pastoral Administrator of St. Dominic in Metz and Fr. Peter Eke will serve as Sacramental Minister.) Fr. Duchnowicz has been relieved of pastoral responsibility for the parishes of St. Paul in Onaway and St. Monica in Afton.
Effective August 6, 2010
Rev. Robert Bissot was reassigned as Pastor of the parishes of St. Catherine in Ossineke, St. Gabriel in Black River, St. Anne in Harrisville and St. Raphael in Mikado.
Rev. Raymond Cotter was reassigned as Pastor of the parishes of St. Francis of Assisi in Lewiston, St. Mary in Mio, St. Augustine in Hillman and Jesus the Good Shepherd in Atlanta.
Rev. Charles Donajkowski was reassigned as Pastor of the parishes of Sacred Heart in Oscoda and Holy Family in East Tawas.
Rev. Wayne Dziekan was assigned Administrator pro tempore of Christ the King Parish in Acme. Fr. Dziekan continues as the Director of the Diocesan Secretariat for Justice and Peace.
Rev. J. August Franczek was reassigned as Pastor of the parishes of St. Pius X in Hale and St. James in Whittemore.
Rev. Joseph Graff was reassigned as Pastor of the parishes of Holy Childhood in Harbor Springs, Holy Cross in Cross Village, St. Nicholas in Larks Lake and St. Ignatius in Good Hart.
Rev. Patrick Maher was reassigned as Pastor to the parishes of St. Joseph in West Branch, Holy Family in Klacking Creek and St. Stephen in Skidway Lake.
Rev. Gregory McCallum was reassigned as Pastor to the parishes of St. Anne, St. Bernard, St. John the Baptist and St. Mary in Alpena and St. Rose of Lima in Herron.
Rev. Paul Megge was reassigned as Pastor to the parishes of St. Mary-St. Charles in Cheboygan, St. Clement in Pellston and Sacred Heart in Riggsville.
Rev. Kenneth Stachnik was reassigned as Pastor of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Traverse City.
Effective August 9, 2010
Rev. Anthony Citro was reassigned as Pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish in Traverse City. Fr. Citro has been relieved of pastoral responsibility for St. Joseph Parish in Mapleton.
Effective August 10, 2010
Rev. Norman Dickson, S.J., was reassigned as Administrator of the parishes of St. Mary of the Woods in Kalkaska and St. Aloysius in Fife Lake.
Rev. Donald Libby was reassigned as Pastor to the parishes of Holy Rosary in Cedar and St. Rita-St. Joseph in Maple City. Fr. Libby will continue to celebrate the Extraordinary Form of the Mass at Holy Rosary in Cedar on a regular basis.
Rev. John McCracken was reassigned as Pastor to the Catholic Community of Manistee which includes the parishes of Guardian Angels, St. Mary of Mt. Carmel and St. Joseph. Fr. McCracken also continues as Vicar for Clergy.
Rev. Bernard Tyler was reassigned as Administrator of the parishes of St. Hubert in Higgins Lake and St. James in Houghton Lake.
