Early Deadline Approaching to Register for World Youth Day 2011
Every three years our Pope invites young adults from around the world to join him for a time of prayer, catechesis, and reflection. The site for World Youth Day 2011 is Madrid, Spain. Bishop Hebda has made this event a priority in his schedule. With enthusiasm he has issued an invitation to young adults from across our Diocese to consider participating in this spiritual pilgrimage with him. Kate Wilde, from St. Mary Cathedral Parish, is coordinating this event for the Diocese o f Gaylord. Gaylord is partnering with three other Michigan Dioceses -- Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo and Marquette -- for advance preparations and participation in World Youth Day 2011. The first registration deadline, to get the very best pricing, is April 1 so hurry and find out how you can get involved.
