The Church office is located at 961 W. Houghton in West Branch, which is also the mailing address. Office hours are Monday 10:00 a.m to 12:00 noon, Tuesday through Thursday from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm., Friday 10:00 a.m to 12:00 noon. 

Parish Mission Statement

We are the Catholic Community of Holy Family Parish, Klacking Creek, as part of the Diocese of Gaylord. We commit ourselves to the following: spiritual growth by faithfully living God's Word in our daily lives, to the meaningful celebration of the Liturgy and Sacraments, to ongoing Christian education and evangelism, to deepen our spirit of community and to serve the needs of others in the Church, our local community and the world through charity, justice and peace.
 

Parish News

Anyone who has lost their connection with the Church and would like to re-establish a relationship; parishioners who may be aware of any “fallen-away” Catholics wanting to return to the Church, or those who simply have a question regarding their faith, are encouraged to contact Deacon Glen at the Parish office, 989-345-0064 ext 305, or at home, 989-685-2238.

The Parish Bulletin is available below. The bulletin should be updated each Friday evening. The full bulletin will always be available at the weekend cluster Masses. The file is in PDF format so you will need Adobe Reader to open it. Contact Joe Hintz at 989-329-5099 if you have any questions. The current bulletin, along with previous bulletins may also be downloaded from here. If you would like to receive the bulletin via mail, please provide your mailing address to the office.

Parish Wide E-Mail
Holy Family has an e-mail list of parishioners which is used for notification of events such as deaths & funerals, special masses, meeting reminders, etc. If you would like to receive such notices, please send an e-mail to the parish office, holyfamily.klackingcreek@gmail.com, with your e-mail address.

Holy Family Office Hours
Our church secretary is Maria Balser. Her office hours at the Fr Siefferly Parish Center are 10:00 am - 12:00 noon  Monday, Tuesday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. She can be reached at parish office at 989-345-0064 ext 302.

Fr. Emmanuel will be available at the Fr Siefferly Parish Center. If you would like to see him, please make an appointment by calling the office at 989-345-0064 ext 302.

Deacon Glen’'s hours are varied. Please check with the office for his availability.

Knights of Columbus Council 8948

The Knights of Columbus was established in 1882 to provide a means by which Catholic men could support the Catholic Church, provide financial protection to protect their families, and engage in works of charity to benefit the less fortunate. If you are interested in joining the Holy Family Knights of Columbus, please contact the Grand Knight, Jeff Sans (989-685-8390) or any of the brothers Knights you may know.

Council of Catholic Women (CCW)

The National Council of Catholic Women acts through its membership to support, empower and educate all Catholic women is spirituality, leadership and service. NCCW programs respond with Gospel values to the needs of the Church and society in the modern world.

The CCW invites ALL ladies of the Parish to participate in providing funeral luncheons. You may organize, set up, work during the luncheon or provide a prepared dish. If you are interested in joining the Holy Family Council of Catholic Women, please contact our CCW President, Josie Burnham (989-390-7360) or any of the CCW women you may know.


Bulletin Postings & Information Deadline
With our cluster bulletin format, all information, notices, postings, etc., must be submitted to the Holy Family office no later than 12:00 noon on the Tuesday for the Sunday 12 days out.

Memorial Plaques at the Holy Family Cross are always available for purchase by family or friends. Forms are located in the east hall of the church or from the Office.

The Sick & Home Bound
If you know of anyone who is sick or home bound and needs spiritual care, please contact Larry Watz 989-701-2327, or Shannon Rea 989-387-1839.

Marriage Preparation
Those preparing for marriage, please contact Deacon Glen Painter @ 989-345-0064 ext 305, or at home, 989-685-2238.

Villa & Nursing Home Visits

CD's for Purchase
Be sure to review the display of CD's in the north corridor. The CD's cover various topics of our Catholic faith and many new titles continue to be added. A $3.00 donation is requested for each CD purchased to help support all diocesan programs.

Seeking Collection Counters
We are in need of parishioners willing to donate ONE HOUR each month to count the collection. New volunteers will be paired with an experienced counter, so it is a simple task! Please call the parish office @ 345-0064 ext 302 to volunteer.

A Council of Catholic Women Invitation

Parish Cluster News

Our Prayer Shawl Ministry is seeking donations of yarn to make prayer shawls and lap robes for those who are home bound, in the hospital or nursing home, for new babies and for new parishioners. Leave donations in the gathering room or drop at the parish office. We have a new, luscious supply of yarn. Ladies may stop at the Parish office to pick up new materials for shawls or lap robes. The Ministry is always looking for new members, so if interested, call the parish office or contact Deb Leonard (989-685-2522) or Kay Salazar (989-345-2458) for details.

Confessions will be heard at the church. Confession times vary. Please call the office for confession dates and times.

Holy Hour
