Discernment days
The Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus Ohio
The Pontifical Caollege Josephinum in Columbus, Ohio, and the Office of Vocations hosts College Live-Ins for young men who are juniors and seniors in high school, and college students who are interested in knowing more about seminary life. The Live-In schedule will include a tour of the campus, discussions, meals and prayer with the college seminarians, attendance at classes, time for swimming and recreation, and a tour of the Columbus area. There is no charge for the weekend. You must be 16 years of age to attend.The live-in weekend this year is October 9-11. For further information, please call Fr Don Geyman at 989-732-5147.

"Discernment: interesting word! To me it means - what God is choosing for you. When I went down to Sacred Heart Seminary in Detroit, it was exactly that.
"I never felt so much compassion and love in one place in my whole life. I went down thinking that no one could talk after 3:00 PM or that we would have to pray twenty-three hours a day. I could not have been more wrong. We were greeted with open arms, and had more activities that weekend than I normally have in a week.
"This experience really strengthened my faith, seeing guys my age in love with the Lord, with the same level of intensity as me. It will be a weekend I will not forget anytime soon. I ask for your prayers."
