O God, we praise and adore you. Thank you for our beloved missionary, Bishop Frederic Baraga. Please bless his intercessions for us, as we lift him to you for the honor of sainthood. Raising up the example of his life gives us a model of fidelity to the Gospel.
Bishop Baraga, you entrusted the urgent work of evangelization to us. We are forever grateful for all you have done on our behalf. Help us to continue your good works to build the Kingdom of God. Amen.

Bishop Baraga Catholic School will have a Spaghetti Dinner on Wednesday, February 1st from 4:30 – 7:00 p.m. at the K of C Hall, 9840 N. Straits Hwy., Cheboygan. Menu includes all-you-can-eat spaghetti, homemade sauce, garlic bread, salad, and dessert. Cost is by donation; carry-outs available. There will also be 50/50 raffles. The Knights of Columbus 4th Degree annual ‘Fat Tuesday’ Potato Pancake Supper on Tuesday, February 21st from 4:30 – 7:00 p.m. at the K of C Hall, 9840 N. Straits Hwy., Cheboygan. Potato & regular pancakes, fresh home made Polish sausage, all the sides, beverage and Cheboygan made Polish Paczki for dessert. Cost is by donation at the door; carry outs available.

The Cheboygan Knights of Columbus will be having their 58th annual Sportsman’s Wild Game Dinner on Saturday, February 18, 2012, at the K of C Hall, 9840 N. Straits Hwy., Cheboygan. Menu will include deer, bear, elk, buffalo, goose, duck, rabbit, beaver, turkey, lake trout, salmon, turtle, and many more, along with mashed potatoes & gravy, assorted vegetables, salad, homemade bread, and cheesecake for dessert. The cost is $30.00 per person with over 100 door prizes including five guns to be given away. Raffles and games of chance will be available along with a cash bar. Tickets are by advance sale only and may be purchased at Stan’s Eastside, Mickey’s Mini-Mart, Alcock’s Market, Modern Pharmacy, all in Cheboygan, or by calling Larry at (231) 627-5811. The doors open at 5:00 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres. Dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m.
