The staff and parishioners of Cross in the Woods Shrine parish invite Catholic and Christians of all faith to visit, reflect and pray at the foot of a 55 foot high outdoor Cross. A seven ton bronze figure of Jesus is on our cross.

Cross in the Woods has undertaken a Restoration Campaign to Restore, Maintain and Enhance the outdoor redwood cross and crucifix which has stood as a symbol of faith in northern lower Michigan since 1954. For more information on this campaign, please contact the parish. Back to top
