Gaylord Knights Present Checks

Last week, the Gaylord Knights of Columbus Council #2781 presented checks from funds raised during their annual Tootsie Roll Drive. Andrea Sarto accepted $2,575.03 on behalf of North Country Community Mental Health from K of C fundraiser chairman Bill Skibinski (left). Andrea explained that the donation helps to fund special events that would otherwise not be able to take place.

At the same time, Grand Knight Joe Makarewicz (right) presented $1,716.69 to Bishop Bernard Hebda for use in ministry to those who are mentally impaired. The Knights of Columbus extend their deep gratitude to all those who contributed as well as the businesses that make the Tootsie Roll Drive possible.
