MISSION STATEMENT
The Human Resources Department of the Diocese of Gaylord is committed to providing safe environment for children, and other services and benefits which promote spiritual as well as personal growth for everyone. Through these programs, we strive to foster a comfortable work environment and enhance positive work relationships. Our policies are administered completely and inclusively to ensure the consistent and equitable treatment of all. This will enable us to be dedicated professionals committed to our jobs and to our Church.
With the above Mission Statement at the forefront of what we do, the Human Resources Office is responsible for the maintenance of personnel records for the diocesan central offices, oversees the administration of employee benefits and maintains payroll information for the central office staff. It also provides human resources services for all the schools and parishes in the diocese and is responsible for job descriptions, performance appraisals, salary ranges, salary surveys and human resource training for the diocese.
The office is also available to assist schools and parishes with questions related to employment and benefits for any staff member.

Instructions regarding Background Checks and Safe Environment Programs
If you are in the process of being hired, or approving a volunteer, you will find the instructions regarding the qualifications for background checks for both positions. Find out what the qualifications are for ICHAT (name search only) or fingerprint background check.
You will also find the Safe Environment Programs that are required in the Diocese of Gaylord whether you are a volunteer or employee.
