Fall Financial Practices Seminars

We will be holding this Seminar in four different locations throughout the diocese. The dates and locations are listed below.

One section will be devoted to parish money management. We will have someone from Michigan Catholic Conference,  along with Kim Smith from the Administrative Office at the Diocese presenting. One of the topics will be about procedures to lessen the possibility of embezzlement. It will last from 2-3 hours with time for questions. Finance Council presidents should attend this session

In the second session,  Diocesan Attorney Rob Westerman  will do a section on updates on employment laws. Tom Tenerovicz, Director of Human Resources, will talk about recent changes to the fingerprint process, data base issues and performance appraisals. This section will last about 2 hours. 

This entire seminar should be attended by priests, business managers, bookkeepers, principals.  It is very important information.  The time frame will be announced shortly.  mark your calendars to attend one of these seminars.
