Faith Formation of Children & Youth

The Secretariat for Faith Formation of Children & Youth provides services to those involved in Catholic Schools, Catechetical Programming and Youth Ministry.

Our Catholic schools are assisted in their ministry of education through a variety of meetings and programs, which include updates on recent trends and developments in education and the sharing of experiences and expertise.

Coordinators of Religious Education and Parish Youth Ministers are assisted in their ministry of faith formation to children and youth through meetings, programs and networking. Catholic Scouting religious awards are also offered through the Secretariat for Faith Formation of Children and Youth.

Additionally, this secretariat provides programming specifically for youth including the Christian Leadership Institute and the Senior High and Junior High Youth Rallies. Parish leadership are also assisted in planning for attendance at national gatherings, work camps and other special opportunities. Through all of these programs Catholic teens build community, learn leadership skills and deepen their Catholic faith.
