Diocesan Calendars


The Diocesan Events, Parish Events and Augustine Center calendars contain information regarding upcoming workshops, educational opportunities, youth activities, diocesan celebrations, meetings and retreats.

The Special Observances calendar is a chronological listing of national and international days (weeks or months) or prayer, commemoration, or social justice.

If you would like to have an event considered for addition to the calendar, please send the pertinent information (name event, time, location, contact information and any details)

Plan to attend the 2019 Catholic Men’s Conference: Rise Up O Men Of God-Finding Hope in Hard Times  with Keynote Speaker: Dr. Scott Hahn on Saturday, March 2nd, 2019 at St. Francis High School in Traverse City.  Dr. Scott Hahn is the author (or editor) of over forty books, including best-selling titles like Rome Sweet Home, The Lamb’s Supper, and Hail Holy Queen. His most recent titles include: The First Society, The Fourth Cup, Romans: A Catholic Commentary, The Creed, Joy to the World, and Evangelizing Catholics. He will join us for the day to deliver some powerful talks to encourage us to rise up as men of God when the world needs us desperately and how to find hope in these hard times within the Church and our society.  Featured Speaker Father Gary Castor from the Diocese of Peoria, Illinois will also present on the importance of daily prayer and give some simple, concrete ways to get started in the spiritual life. The Marion Bookstore will be on site and confession will be available. The conference will conclude with Mass at 4 p.m. with Bishop Steven J. Raica. Cost with early bird registration (before February 24th) is $25, registration (February 25-March 1) $30 and $35 at the door the day of the event. Register online at
