Women's Cursillo Weekend
Contact & More Info
Cursillo is a movement taking place around the world aimed at making a Christian community possible and family, social and work situations. The Cursillo method takes a Christian beyond a passive belief in God to a daily interaction with God and His people, helping one to become more committed in Christ. Beginning with a Cursillo weekend, participants will live, work and pray together during this 3-day respite from society. A Cursillo weekend is not a retreat, but rather the beginning of a person’s life-long growth as a Christian. The Men’s Cursillo Weekend will be held Thursday-Sunday, February 22-25, and the Women’s Cursillo Weekend will be held Thursday-Sunday, March 8-11. Both weekends will be held at the Augustine Center in Conway and cost $190 per person. Those who would like more information on the Cursillo movement and Men’s and Women’s Weekends are invited to contact Jim Charron, Pre-Cursillo Representative for the Diocese of Gaylord, at 231.943.9881 or via email at email@example.com.
