 Holy Family Office Hours
Our church secretary is Gail Gotter. Her office hours at the rectory are 9:00am-3:00pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. She can be reached at the church phone number 989-345-3422. Also, Holy Family mail is coming back to Holy Family. Gail will handle any correspondence accordingly.
Deacon Glen Painter is at the Parish office on Tuesdays.
Father Patrick is at the Parish office on Thursdays.
Bulletin Postings & Information Deadline
With our new cluster bulletin format, all information, notices, postings, etc., must be submitted to the Holy Family office no later than 12:00 noon on the Thursday for the Sunday 10 days out. (Example: for the Feb 21 bulletin, the deadline is noon on Thursday, Feb. 11.)
Holy Family Library
Holy Family now has a library located in the room adjacent to the sacristy. Take time to browse - you are welcome to take a book, read it and then return it.
Circle of Grace
The diocese has mandated a new program called the "Circle of Grace." The goal is to 'educate and empower children and young people to actively participate in a safe environment for themselves and for others.' It is to be implemented in all parishes that have a faith formation program. Handouts explaining the philosophy of the program are provided at the church entrances. An in-service meeting will be scheduled in the near future that all catechists will be required to attend, along with any interested parents. More information to follow.

Holy Family, Family Life Committee

Vacation Bible School
This year will be a joint endeavor with St. Joseph and Holy Family Churches. It will be held in June, dates to follow. If you would like to participate as a volunteer, contact Deacon Glen.
2010 Holy Family Pastoral Council
The council would like to add two members from the parish at large. We are looking for parishioners who are willing to bring their knowledge, experience and love of Holy Family to the council, and who are willing to work hard on council ministries! If you are interested in becoming a candidate or would like to discuss this in greater detail, please speak to one of the council members or call Paul Gotter at 989-685-3527.

Cemetery
Winter grave blankets and decorations are to be removed by April 25th in order to begin the spring cleanup and lawn care.
Attention Gardeners!
The Parish office is seeking volunteers to work on the grounds around the church, the parish hall and the rectory. The shrubs and flower beds need attention in order to look their best for spring! Please call the office if you would like to help.
Director of Religious Education (DRE) is needed JOB POSTING-Final Notice
Holy Family, Klacking Creek and the West Branch Cluster is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Director/Coordinator of Faith Formation. Candidate should be a practicing Roman Catholic. The Sunday church bulletin is now posted on this site. Go to the button labeled "Bulletin" to the left of the church photo above and click on it. The next Sunday's bulletin will be there to download. The bulletin should be updated each Tuesday evening and will only include those pages directly attributed to the Holy Family Parish. This will allow a faster download for those with a dial-up internet connection. The full bulletin will be available at the weekend cluster Masses.  Every Sunday has a Parish Social Hour
A parish social hour will be held every Sunday immediately following the 9am Mass. Sponsored by any one of the parish organizations, all parishioners, friends, families and neighbors are welcome to socialize and enjoy coffee and donuts in our parish hall.
1st Sunday of the Month
No Faith Formation classes.
2nd thru 5th Sundays of the Month
Faith formation classes from kindergarten through high school, 10:30am-11:45am.
3rd Monday of each month
The Knights of Columbus hold their business meeting.
3rd Thursday of each month
The Council of Catholic Women (CCW) hold their monthly meeting following the 11:30am Mass.
1st & 3rd Thursday of each month, NEW - PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY
(as part of the Respect for Life Ministry) will meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Rectory. For more information, call Jessica Goulette at 989-387-6854. If you care to donate yarn or crochet supplies, there is a box located in the north corridor.
Cafe Sessions, U.S. Catechism for Adults
The cafe sessions on the United States Catechism for adults will resume Thursdays from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at the Holy Family rectory. We will meet each Thursday at the same time and location until March 25th.
Marriage Preparation for the 3 Parishes
Couples preparing for marriage must contact Fr. Patrick for an application. Two sessions on Marriage Preparation will be held. The first will be on February 27 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the St. Joseph school. Lunch will be provided. The second will be on March 13 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at Holy Family. Again, lunch will be provided.
Rosary for the Sick
A Rosary for the sick will be said on the first Sunday each month at 8:30am, prior to the normal 9:00am Mass. Please pray for all the sick of our parish, especially for Ervin Schneider and Harry Biermann.
A Sacramental Preparation Mini-Retreat
A retreat is scheduled for Saturday, April 24th for 9:30am-11:30am at St. Joseph School. This will include rehearsal for the April 30th Confirmation/First Communion with Bishop Hebda.
Catholic Services Appeal - CSA Drive Sunday, April 25
The 2010 annual Diocesan Catholic Services Appeal will be conducted. The theme is "One Faith, One Family of God". Each year our Bishop asks us to make a commitment to support the work of our Diocesan programs and ministries which provide services that no single parish could provide on its own. This effort is a means by which we can all work together to care for the Church by sharing the gifts God has granted us. Our parish goal is 100% participation. Please join us as we work together to continue God's work of spirituality, charity and education. Prior to and following Mass, volunteers will be stationed in the ante-room in the north corridor to receive your contribution or pledge.

St Ann's Guild (CCW) Annual Garage Sale, Friday-Saturday, May 14-15
Their annual garage sale will be held at the Holy Family Parish Hall. The collection schedule is: Mon-Wed, May 10-12 from 10:00am to 5:00pm and again on Thurs, May 13 from 12:30pm-6:00pm. The Sale is Friday and Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. All donations are accepted but must be clean and/or in good working order. For special drop off arrangements, call Mary Miles at 989-345-9023.
Graduating High School Seniors Reception, Sunday, June 6
The Parish Social Committee is planning a reception following Mass to honor our graduating seniors. If you are a Holy Family senior graduating or know of someone who is, please contact the parish office. We need those names to better plan this event.
St. Andrew Task Force Jr. High Retreat, Friday-Sunday, June 11-13
A retreat for grades 6,7 & 8th graders is scheduled at the St. Mary's Cathedral in Gaylord. Presenters are Bishop Hebda and Fr. Don Geyman. Information flyers are available at the church entrances
Catholic Men's Conference, Saturday, June 26
The first-ever statewide conference is open to men of all ages and will be held at the Eastern Michigan University Convocation Center in Ypsilanti. Registration begins at 8:00am; the program starts at 9:00am. It concludes with Mass at 4:00pm. More information is available on the Web at www.ChristsChosen.com.
