The Carmelite Monastery is a group of cloistered contemplative nuns whose main purpose is prayer. These prayers are primarily for priests, but they also pray for a variety of other causes.

Gallagher-Bassett Services, Inc. is the Third Party Claims Administrator for the Protected Loss Fund Program of the Province of Detroit and the Diocese of Gaylord. Holy Cross Children's Services is a Catholic-oriented, nonprofit child care and family preservation agency whose headquaters are in Clinton, Michigan. It provides programs such as foster care, chemical dependancy for youths, detention homes, and other treatment programs. Holy Cross Children's Services provides a community-oriented living and working environment and seeks to be an advocate on issues which affect children and families.

The House of the Holy Shroud is a retreat house that provides space for individuals to come for private retreats in an informal setting.

Madonna House is a prayer house open to all who come to pray or to talk. Founded in Toronto in 1930 it has grown to more than 150 members, including 12 priests. Retreats are available for a 24 hour duration, but may be extended.The house has a chapel, spiritual lending library, and offers friendship, love, and prayer for everyone.

The mission of the Northern Michigan Catholic Foundation is to promote the strength and vitality of the Catholic faith by establishing long-term endowments and special project funding for ministries of Word, Worship, Religious Formation and Works of Charity. Governed by a Board of Trustees, the Foundation works collaboratively with the Bishop to ensure both a continued strong Catholic presence and the future growth of church programs and outreach throughout the Diocese of Gaylord.

The Sacramentine Monastery was initially founded in 1951 in Michigan for the express purpose of opening a House of Prayer. Currently the Monastery is housed in the Augustine Center in Conway, Michigan, which was named after Mother Mary Augustine, foundress of the Sacramentine Sisters. The public is welcome to call the Monastery to request prayers for special needs and intentions and also to participate at Mass. Mass is offered Saturday and Sunday mornings at 7:00 a.m.
